Whereas Moore himself was only paid around $20,000. the cost for transportation, security and so on was said to be in the $50,000 range. Nonetheless i don't have any evidence besides what i have heard from multiple sources, both pro and anti Moore. Fairmont seems to be kinda hush-hush about this stuff. If any body can tell me where to get such answers please share.

Which leads me to my biggest problem with mister mike. How much money has he made off of this film? Granted a person has every right to make money off of their work, but i thought we were talking about spreading truth. i'm not sayning Moore should give the DVD's away and lose money. But he has already made millions off of this "documetary" that couldn't have been too expensive to make. (Though i'm sure the editing did cost a pretty penny.) i have a few conspiracy theory friends and have viewed my share of "documentaries spreading the truth." But one thing i respected was that none of their videos or literature were copyrighted. They believed in what they were saying so much that they encouraged others to burn copies and give them away to others. His site says something about free rentals, but there are only a few hundred stores participating, and no real information on how that works. If moore encouraged other people to make copies of his video to give away for free then this "truth" would reach alot more people and he wouldn't lose money, he would just make less. Think about it. It kinda seems to me that, to moore, money takes precedence over truth.
