Othello 3.1-5.2

Summary:

Cassio asks Desdemona to get Othello to forgive him and Iago tells Othello that he thinks Cassio is having an affair with her. Iago’s wife Emilia takes Desdemona’s handkerchief. Iago then places it in Cassio’s house who then gives it to Bianca. Iago then tells Othello that Desdemona has given Cassio her handkerchief and Othello confronts her on its whereabouts. Othello then hides as Cassio talks about Bianca but Iago makes it sound like he’s talking about Desdemona. Afterward, Othello and Iago plot to kill Desdemona and Cassio. Othello gets called back leave Cassio in his place and Iago talks Roderigo into murdering him. Cassio ends up killing Roderigo and being wounded by Iago. Othello kills his wife and Emilia tells him the truth about the handkerchief so Iago promptly kills her. After he is arrested Othello wounds Iago and kills himself.
