Snow Day

Between work, the different ministries i'm involved in, spending time with friends, and falling more in love with Katie everyday the whole blog thing seems far less important. In fact the internet is far less of a priority; i now only check my e-mail about once a week. But alas, the main point of this blog is for those whom i love back home that i don't get to see such as my Aunt Cindy. So, yet again here are the "bullets" of my life.

-i've joined my church's volleyball league. We're supposed to play Mondays and Thursdays put i can only play Mondays as Thursday is date night with Katie.

-It snowed today (WHoo Hoo) and that means i can't work outside. Snow day!!! So what oober fun activity am i doing? Snowball fights? sled rides? building snowmans? NO!! i'm blogging and i slept until 11:00.

-I found a snake yesterday while working i brought him home and may keep him as a pet. He is brown with a pink belly.
Due to the pink belly Katie named him Strawberry; I then insisted that the name was far to girly; yet wishing to apease my lady i named him Darrel Strawberry.

-My roomate bought a venus fly trap. Sweet-O

-Saturday we had a Halo2 LAN party at the InQuest ministries office. We had 8 X-boxes connescted in 7 different rooms. It was glorious.

-Sunday i played Ultimate Frisbee for the first time in months, then we played capture the flag and Manhunt (Night Tag to those from Arbutus Park) after Epicenter. Monday was spent hauling heavy peices of concrete and wood at work then rushing home and playing volleyball that night. I was a bit exhausted.

-Monday night was Rion's birthday party. I got him a bunch of things from the share shop and Katie wrapped them. Rion got a s'mores maker, Bo knows Bo VHS autobiography, a marine sniper's journal from Vietnam, a denim Harley Davidson biker vest, a white and yellow karate belt, a tiara, and a John Tesh devotional. The party was virtually all couples, kinda weird cause last year almost no one was coupled.

-Steve Yoder and i are trying to start up a paintball ministry. We'll see how that turns out. We play again on Saturday.

-Zach got a powerbook with a built in camera so we played with it alot.

Does the truth have any bearing on which way you go?
