wow, i don't think i've ever went more than a month without posting on my blog since i started it 3.5 years ago.
-Christmas was great, but next year i need to stay more than 6 days. Its just not enough time to visit everyone that i want. It seems like every time i visit i have to explain to more people that i'm probably not going to move back to WV. Its not that i wouldn't want to, i just don't see it happening. I do love and miss my family though. My nieces develop more personality every time i see them.
-Saint Steven's Day is becoming one of mt favorite holidays. Its the day after Christmas when a bunch of my friends back home get together. Friends...
-I'm on book number two "Perelandra" of CS Lewis' space trilogy. I love CS Lewis oh so very much.
-I made 3 B's and an A last semester. I'm okay with, that but it does bother me that i would have had nearly straight A's if it wasn't for our greading scale being higher than most colleges and universities. I'm all about having higher standards but the grade difference is making our students look worse while others in easier schools look better.
-Work is going well. I made employee of the month and it was far more edifiyng than i thought it would be. I have never aspired to be employee of the month nor did it ever have much appeal. I do my job to please God not oher men so i'm okay if they dont see it. I really do love my job and i think i'm really being a good witness for Christ through my actions and the opportunities i've had to share my faith.
-I went to Winterfest for New Years and heard a bunch of bands. I helped chaperone my friend's youth group and it confirmed my lack of desire to be in youth ministry. Nonetheless, i'm glad i was able to help out Ryan and also see Stellar Kart, Hawk Nelson, Jeremy Camp, Disciple, Run Kid Run, and a few others.
-i finally got new tires put on my car. I think that was the first time i've put all new tires on since i bought it. Now i just need to install my tape deck and i'll be good to go.
-I love my new cd's. OAR, Better than Ezra and Matchbox 20 are so much fun.
-We've decided to move Epicenter to Sunday nights instead of Fridays. College ministry is always changing.

Hey Scot - Good thoughts, bro - I need to check out that space trilogy by C.S. Lewis myself. Is it like Star-Trek cheezy spacey or is it like sophisticated, futuristic type reading? (Being C.S. Lewis, I assume it to be the latter...)
And the Southeastern grading scale...yeah, I hear ya. I got all A's and B's, but I really thought my B's should have all been A's. So...glad to hear that I'm not the only one that was a bit miffed by that...
