i know most people are gonna think "riiiiight." But i'm dead serious. Example: I gave Justin a suggestion on something and he said that they thought about it last time and that it didn't realy work that well. I hesitated to even make the suggestion originally because i thought that surely he would have thought of it himself. So when he told me why my idea wouldn't work, and that he had already thought of it i was glad for two reasons. 1) I was glad that he had thought of such a "simple" concept. 2) I learned something new.
Also, due to my "doom and gloom" outlook on many situations, many times i want to be wrong. Especially when it comes to relationships. But, unlike some people i know, i cannot ignore something just because it makes me uncomfortable. And so far, all of my doom and gloom predictions have occured, MUCH to my dismay, and i do pray daily that i will be proven wrong.
There are also times when i read something in the Bible that either makes me uncomfortable, or it just seems to go against the way other Godly people live. At these times i am very thankful when i bring them to a knowledgable person and they give me deeper insight as to the meaning of a verse. Hence, faith in others is once again restored. (to an extent)
So it comes back to the main point of being "corrected." If all your going to do is tell me i'm wrong then i don't want to hear it. If you have intelligent, biblical reasoning to back it up then i would love to hear it. Few people that i talk to ever bring anything "new" to a conversation. They re-iterate the same points and hold to them no matter how illogical or unscriptual they may be.
Some have claimed that i'm "close-minded." Those people have merely failed to "open" my mind with anything that i haven't already heard, studied, and refuted. They, then refuse to listen to my reasoning. If someone ever calls another person close minded they have just directed a giant, foam "we're #1" finger at themselves.

You know what I say the reason your doom & gloom predictions are right is because you expect them to. The Scripture says "as a man thinketh in his heart so is he", also when the disciples came to Jesus about something bad that was going to happen. He Said "They could have what they say, but they they say what they have.
About the being closed minded. Seems someone HM HM said that to me a few years ago.
I know you probably get tired of hearing this, but you are starting to sound so much like me in many things. But I respect that you are principled to stand on what you believe.
I am proud of You(I'm proud of Wendy & Eddie to).
