Another frequently used argument for justifying homosexuality is the occurrence of homosexual behaviors in other animals besides humans. The line of thinking goes something like,
“God created my dog, and my dog humps other male dogs. Since my dog only does what’s natural for him then how could this type of behavior be considered wrong?”
In my misplaced zeal I found many flaws in this seemingly rational thinking.
First is the absence of exclusive homosexuality in nature. Though some male lions hump each other while the lionesses are out hunting for months at a time, they still have sex with the females when they return. Polygamy is prevalent in nature, humans are one of the few monogamous species on this planet. So, all you have here is an example of homosexual acts in nature, not the homosexual born lifestyle that others try to slide in with it.
Homosexual ACTS do occur in nature. EXCLUSIVE homosexuality does not.
